The settings for the Revenue & Costs module are found under Administration > Project Times & Receipts > Settings.
Note: If you use ZEP Compact without the Revenue & Costs module, this tile is called “Project Times”.
Lookback Period for Receipts
In addition to the general lookback period for project times, you can define a separate, independent lookback period for receipt entry. This allows you, for example, to restrict project time entry to the current week while still allowing receipts to be entered up to 30 days retroactively.
The configuration follows the same rules as the general lookback period: select a reference point (today or the current week) and optionally specify additional days back.
Receipt Icon in Project Time Entry
Enable this option so that employees always see the receipt icon in the project time entry form – even for projects where receipt entry is not enabled. This allows receipts to be started directly from the time entry view.
Ask About Price Factors
When an employee enters time that falls within a surcharge period (according to the price table), ZEP can ask whether the price factor should apply to that time. This setting is useful when employees occasionally work in the evening or on weekends voluntarily and no surcharge should be applied.
Yes: ZEP asks the question each time time is entered within a surcharge period. The selection can be changed later by reopening and saving the time entry. Time entries without price factor application are marked with a blue money symbol.
No: Applicable price factors are always calculated without prompting.
Centime Rounding (CHF)
If your base currency is Swiss Franc (CHF) or you report CHF amounts, you can configure here that CHF amounts are rounded to 5 centimes. The rounding applies to all reports that include CHF amounts.
Activities and Receipt Types in Reports
Specify globally how receipt types and activities are displayed in the reports Cost Accounting, Project Time Report, Project Sales Volume, and Invoice Attachment:
Description: The full description is shown as a column in the table.
Short form and legend: The short form is shown in the table; a legend below the table explains the short forms.
