With the Taxmaro integration, you can transfer employee data and absences from Taxmaro to ZEP. Taxmaro is an HR system with a connection to payroll. Taxmaro remains the leading system for the imported data.

Note: The Taxmaro integration is available in ZEP Compact and ZEP Professional. It is not included in ZEP Clock.
Prerequisites
To set up the integration, you need:
Access to the Interface Marketplace in ZEP
A Bearer token from Taxmaro – ask your Taxmaro administrator for this
The API URL of your Taxmaro environment – the URL varies by instance
Setting up the integration
In ZEP, go to Administration > Interfaces → Interface Marketplace. Select Taxmaro and click Add. You will be guided through the booking process in the self-service tool.
After booking, configure the following in the interface overview:
Bearer token: Authentication token from Taxmaro.
API URL: The base URL of your Taxmaro environment.
Username mode: Defines how ZEP creates usernames for imported employees.
Data Transfer
Employees
ZEP imports the following employee data from Taxmaro:
Taxmaro employee ID
Private email address
First and last name
Private phone number
Personnel number
Full address (street, postal code, city)
Date of birth
Start date
End date, if applicable
Taxmaro transfers data including private address and date of birth – information typically required for payroll processing.
Absences
ZEP also imports absences from Taxmaro:
Assignment to the employee
Absence type
Start and end date
Comment
Indication of whether the absence is full-day, half-day, or hourly
Synchronization and log
ZEP synchronizes the data hourly in the background. Employees and absences from Taxmaro are therefore automatically available in ZEP.
Taxmaro remains the leading system for the imported data. Make changes in Taxmaro – ZEP picks them up automatically in the next hourly sync.
