Every employee you create in ZEP Clock gets a kind of "file". There you can view and change data, create evaluations and, as an administrator, add working hours and absences. The important steps are discussed below, but it's best to get an overview of everything.

Under Employees > Evaluations you will find an overview of evaluations of all employees.

Create employees

Path: Employees > Administration

To create a new employee, click on “+ New Employee”. Please note that navigation in the pop-up window is done via tabs:

Generally:
1. Please fill in at least all fields marked with an asterisk. If you do not want to or cannot enter an email address for an employee, please check the box "Enter password" and enter a password.
2. You can also set the language of ZEP Clock for your employee here if he or she requires a different language than the one you previously set.
3. If you have the Departments module, you can assign the employee to the appropriate department here.
4. Determine which rights the employee has in ZEP Clock. For detailed explanations of the rights, please click on the question mark icon in ZEP Clock.
Settings:
1. Here you determine how your employee should record times. If the employee should be able to clock in and out in the web interface, please check the box “Start/end attendance in the web interface”.

If you click on “Save”, the employee’s file will open immediately. Here you can make further settings.
