Departments, branches, locations

With the "Departments" module, you can map your company structure in ZEP, i.e. define departments, branches or locations (menu item Departments), assign employees and projects to individual departments, store letterhead, define department heads and create evaluations of times and costs for each department.

An administrator can restrict all evaluations by department.

You will receive the following additional evaluations in the menu item Departments > Evaluations

  • Times:

    Working hours of all employees in the department

    If the "Overtime, Absences and Holidays" module is used, the following data is also displayed per department and in total:

    • Annual leave in days

    • unpaid absence in days

    • Paid absence in days

    • Total overtime

  • Cost:

    For each department, a detailed list of the total internal and external costs incurred per month is displayed:

Selection of the customer's department

A department manager receives his department(s) to select. An administrator or controller can select all departments. Inactive departments are not offered in the list.

The default is the department of the logged in user. In the ZEP settings you can also specify that "- All departments -" should be the default for administrator and controller instead.

When you set a department, only customers from this department are displayed. Use the checkbox to specify whether customers from sub-departments of the selected department should also be included in the customer list.

If you select "- All departments -", all customers will be offered, regardless of their department affiliation, even if your department is inactive.
